Character inspo for my current WIP – a work of contemporary fiction exploring the impact infertility has on people’s core relationships.
Our female friends are some of the most important relationships in our life. But what happens when the reproductive race starts to create winners and losers? This is central to the story.

One thing that blows my mind about creating fictional characters is how well my brain can pick them out of a line up.
Once the story is established, and I have a clear sense of who’s who, I like to search for a visual of each character to stick beside my desk. And I always know each character immediately, at first sight.
Corinne. Pippa’s pregnant best friend.
Domenica. Pippa’s single work wife.
